Agency Lending Disclosure of Principal (ALDOP) Update

The SunGard Agency Lending Disclosure of Principal (ALDOP) application developed throughout 2005 and 2006 has provided a platform to assist customers in achieving compliance with regulatory requirements. SunGard continues to make enhancements to the system to improve the manageability of data and ease of use. Late in 2006, SunGard surveyed its ALDOP customers to determine which enhancement suggestions represented users' top priorities. The 2007 ALDOP enhancement list was published in December of 2006. These enhancements include:

  • The online display of preliminary and excess collateral reports, with drill-down capability to underlying detail.
  • The ability to extract excess collateral information into an Excel® format for further analysis and incorporation into overall FOCUS reporting.
  • A data-correction facility for month-end data to allow users to correct discrepancies in data provided by Agent Lenders prior to generating final month-end reports.
  • Enhanced functionality for the management of principal lender credit limits.

Several of these enhancements have moved into production, others are in the QA process. Look for ALDOP Information Bulletins for on-going enhancement announcements.

SunGard hosted a weekly ALDOP customer call during 2006 to keep users informed of industry-related information and to address issues specific to the SunGard application.
