Getting the Best from Global One
We are always looking for ways to ensure that clients have up-to-date information on the scope and functionality of Global One, and are keen to assist clients in finding ways to maximize the benefits received from using the system.
Global One runs Focus Groups, Executive Advisory Committees, and client workshops and forums designed to help clients get the best out of their Global One system. The 2006 workshops and forums to date include:
- Dividend and Corporate Action Seminar - detailed the Global One capabilities for alerts, processing, claims generation, and controls with hands-on client experience with the functionality.
- Integration Seminar - covering all aspects of the toolkit available to ensure that data can easily be integrated with other upstream/downstream systems.
- SWIFT Seminar - review of flexibility of profiling capabilities for both securities and cash messages.
- System Administrators Forum - a discussion group focusing on the more technical aspects of the system, aiming to develop best practices for key Global One housekeeping functions.
Additional seminars are planned for 2006. These seminars will cover:
- High Availability - new ways of safeguarding your Global One system and providing recovery with RFS (Recoverable File System) and Replication
- Global Trade Flow - the new inter-entity trade flow module provides the ability to auto-generate trades and activities via MQ between Global One accounts/clients.
In addition to the seminars/forums, we have been conducting numerous client-specific presentations, focusing on the benefits that clients receive when they upgrade from their current Global One version to the latest available version.
If you would like additional information on any of the seminar content, or would like to arrange a meeting to discuss upgrade benefits, please contact your local Global One Account Manager.
